***INCREDIBLY EXCITING NEWS***
After fighting off the application of hundreds of schools across the country, Catton Grove Primary are 1 of 12 schools to be chosen nationally as a Blue Peter Book Award judging school.
This means 20 of our lucky children in Year 5 and 6 will get the opportunity to read and vote for the books shortlisted for the Blue Peter Book award. There will be 3 books shortlisted for 'Best Story' and 3 for 'Best Book with Facts'.
The 6 shortlisted books will be announced on this Thursday's Blue Peter episode on CBBC from 5.30-6pm. Make sure you tune in!
There is also a Blue Peter competition to win 20 NEW BOOKS which has a deadline of 5pm tonight. Your child must be 6 or over. It's really simple to enter here:

We are very excited to share the shortlist for the Blue Peter Book Awards!
There are three books are in the running for Best Story, and three are on the list for Best Book With Facts. The nominated books will now be sent to children in judging schools
( That`s Catton Grove ) Primary across the country, who will read them all and then vote for their favourites.
