Whilst reading countless posts on social media about home schooling, it has made me aware how stressed parents are becoming at having to be come educators as well.
This comes from my heart and I expect from everyone here at Catton Grove Primary.
Be kind to yourselves, we are not expecting you to become teachers, we know those of you with larger families will struggle over the sharing of lap tops,etc. The resources are there to help you keep the children in touch with their school work, not for a whole school day.
Dip in and out, spend time together doing it, but your job is to be their rock and to keep them safe and well.
The teachers will pick up everything else when we return to normal and get them back on track. Just enjoy your time together and look after yourself as well.
